I want to hang around in a big group at school, be popular on myspace (top friends etc) But sometimes im horrid to friends, i just say stupid stuff. How do i make them appreciate me i n a way i can hang around with the lads that play football. dont have that many friends, holidays are here

And the answer to your question just talk to people. Be yourself dont act or be something your not. People will accept you or they dont. Just be outgoing. I guess. Im just freaking crazy and I guess thats why people like me.

Give them compliments

Help them out

Tell them your there for them if they need help

Dont be a jock and seem like you know eveything

We all say stupid stuff sometimes. the best thing to do is to think about what you're saying before you say it. Some people might take it as something you don't mean.

In making friends, don't try to hard. Don't think too much about it, like what you're doing now. They'll know when you do and you'll look kinda desperate.

And about the phrase "Be yourself", I don't know what to do with that. It doesn't apply to the real world honestly. It would work in an ideal one though.

Just trust your gut feeling.
