Why is myspace editor showing up blank when I click it?

I was investigation crappy internet explorer and my screen went blank when clicking on editor. I quickly logged off and signed on with Firefox. My screen under editor is still blank. I am going to be pissed off if internet explorer screwed up my site that fast. I never used that piece of you know what before on myspace. Is my site totally screwed now? I even turned my computer off and it still wont show up. Just a blank gray screen with all the headers at the top.

Hi Alan,

There is a good chance that the editor you used gave you gray text and background which will change your whole page to unviewable. My site below under Internet Talk has a Myspace Help section with an editor that should help you get your page the way you wish. Hope this helps

Please help with MySpace html/css coding issue!?

Just something that's been annoying me on my myspace page that I can not seem to fix...

Certain things that are embedded onto each person's page (navigation links at the top, copyright info at the bottom) are aligned to the RIGHT on my page instead of CENTERED as they should be. I can't find anything in my coding that would be causing this and I'm fairly familiar with html/css (but no expert by any means, haha this could be a glaringly obvious mistake I suppose lol..) so.... anyone have a quick fix?? I'll def give out a best answer! :)

Umm.....that looks like a code for a layout rather than what you're wanting.

A band profile is much different. If you want the layout above, just post this in the band's Bio section.

Or, if you are trying to post a pic as a personal phrase, then go to edit profile, and then post the code in the first text box. If it doesn't work then you can try a different code, provided that the site you got it from has more than one.

I check and use my Myspace like every day and i noticed that on guys page's their girlfriend's are almost alway's at the top of their friend's list ... however the boyfriend's are almost never on the top of the girls list and somtimes never even on the list at all,also it sometimes says the girl is single which she is not, she is clearly taken... well not clearly LOL but whatever...

girls do enjoy being single that's for sure but if you are taken ladies dont cheat on your man, that's not nice!

Whether on or off myspace girls just like boys are liable to cheat with whomever, whenever they want. Its not a reflection on you and you can't do anything about it. Quiet as its kept, women love sex more than men do and mentioning this fact is very taboo, but its true. Not to mention that attention is a girl's second orgasm. A reason girls keep their status at single is because 1) they're not serious about the boyfriend that they have; and 2) they enjoy the attention that they get from dudes on myspace. And don't let the girls' idle complaints about dudes on myspace fool you; they LOVE THE ATTENTION, otherwise they would delete their account and never log on myspace again. So can anyone be trusted? Hell no!

as for generally trusting girls...it doesn't really depend on the gender, there are some girls and guys that will always be loyal to their partners and there are some that will easily lose interest and let their eyes wander...it really depends on the individual person...

I go to an out of school thing every sat. and i see theses guys there who are in my class. they really funny and good to hang around. me and my best friend go and we both added two of the guys to myspace. theire both home schooled btw. on his myspace, im 7th on his friends list out of 35-he seems pretty popular, a year younger btw. and my friend is not on his top friends (22 of them) and i used to be 10th but he moved me in front of two guys on his list. i've known him for about 8 weeks, hes 6th on my list (2nd out of the guys) and i've sent him messages n stuff on myspace n he doesn't often reply. he doesn't get on msn much but when he did i was talking, then he said he had to go, so i said by, then he came back on and i was like *raised eyebrow smiley* and he said go away. and so i :( then made my status away and didnt talk no more to him. i like him but wasn't sure if he liekd me, thought maybe i was being too friendly, too forward.

I have a Compaq Armada and I was on myspace when it shut down... so I thought that i hit the button so i turned it on them it got to the desk top screen and then shut down... so i turned it on a 3rd time, all the lights came on and shut down, no it wont come on. can some one help me??? PLEASE!!!!!

Sounds like you were running on battery power and the battery died. Try plugging back into an electrical outlet. If you are already plugged in, your power supply may be bad. If you recharge your battery and the problem continues, take it in to a repair shop and have them look at it.

take out the battery for 10 minutes

Put back in and then try

If you can get to bootup screen go into the bios ( f10 i believe- setup menu , could be delete)

Look for " restore factory defaults"

Save and reboot

Make sure you save the changes ( usually f10)

It will take it back to the original settings that it came from the factory

You cannot do a lot of harm and this is the first step

If all that above doesn't work it may be a heat issue. Computers turn themselves off so they don't get damaged if it gets too hot. You might just need to make sure it is getting proper ventilation. Make sure you're not covering the exhaust fan and check the fan to make sure its not backed up with dust.

omg this same thing happened to me like a week ago. i was on myspace and my computer was like 'going into hibernation" i was like NOOOOOO. and then i tried to plug the charger in but the charge box is all jacked up. maybe its just the control box or something!

The heat issue is certainly the most likely thing at the moment....laptops are very susceptible if their heatsinks become blocked with hair/lint etc. A good sign to watch out for is if the fan comes on earlier than usual, or runs at high speed constantly.

The other reason systems do not turn on can also be if the memory (RAM) has become unseated. This is less likely as the system was running when it shut down on you but is worth checking nonetheless.
