How do you change your myspace layout?

Can anyone please tell me how to change my myspace layout/background?

I've had my current one for about a year now and want to change it, i tried the other day by copying the code and then pasted into the about me box, i saved it then looked at my profile and the only change was the code in letters/numbers on my profile, no new layout!

What am i doing wrong? does it go right at the top of the box or do i have to delete the old one first?

As you can proberbly tell im not great with computers but any help from you would be appreciated!

erase everything in your about me section then paste the code into the blank.then save changes

if so, you have to go back to it and clear out the code that it adds in order to go back to using copy/paste codes/layouts

If you are careful copying some html codes you'll be alright.

U have to delete ur old layout 1st .. or it will just go together and it will look funny

Make sure you delete your old one first before you try to paste your new one.

u have to delete the old layout code first, if its just a background colour, click edit profile, profile editor, start, clear all to delete colour. dont 4get to save.

You need to put much more detail but I will try and help you as possible.

First go on "Edit Profile" and then at the top, click on "Profile Editor" and then click on "Customize" at the top and then click on "Delete All" or "Remove All" I can't remember which one (just look for one that looks like deleting it all). When you have done that and it still hasn't worked then delete every single HTML in your "Edit Profile" and find a better website that lets you make better layouts and premade layouts. If this keeps happening email Tom and see if your problem has already happened to someone by clicking on the questions. If the questions arn't anything to do with yours then it will let you email Customer Service. Also Firefox may be the problem but I don't know for sure because I have Firefox and it works fine for me.
